February-June 2020. A dark anonymous figure balances precariously on a sideways chair, lusting after a sugar cube. At the beginning of the pandemic, governments around the world issued shelter-in-place orders. The desire to protect the larger community by prevneting the spread of the virus motivated many to comply. However, these orders were met with strong resistance by some. In the times of crisis and survival, we are all forced to distinguish between the things we need and the things we want.
