High Voltage Humans

2018

We, modern humans, are used to having energy and power. We take for granted what is required to keep us satiated. Our dependence on fossil fuels has accelerated the rise of global temperatures 1.4 degrees since 1880. (NASA GIS Study)

As our use of fossil fuels continues Earth’s arctic and glacial ice are melting at alarming rates. Higher temperatures are leading to drought, fire and stronger and more frequent weather events along with sea rise.

Even if Hawai’i becomes 100% energy independent by 2045, we will still have to contend with more severe weather, pollution and rising seas.

If our country and the world don’t step up to address this, the third planet from the sun will only make life harder for us humans.
